A Logbook is an important document that contains details about the car (color, axles, cc, seats) and the owner of the car.
Get your NTSA / KRA motor vehicle transfer processed together with the Logbook Transfer Form C from the previous owner and have your new Logbook with your details within 5 Working Days. The application will be processed through NTSA / KRA on your behalf and deliver the necessary documents to you efficiently.
The following are important steps to follow during the transfer:-
- Conduct an Online NTSA Car Search to ensure the current logbook details are correct – Proof of ownership
- Fill in the Application form below
- Confirm you have all the necessary documents
- Original Logbook

- Duly filled KRA Transfer Form C by both the car seller and buyer
- Copies of ID for both seller and buyer
- Copies of PIN for both seller and buyer
- If buying from an organization, Copies of both Certificate of Registration and PIN for both organization (seller) and buyer.
- If the owner is deceased – letters of Administration to be attached
- In case of written off vehicle inspection Report to be attached
- Incase of Parastatal, EX GKs and Local Authorities, letter signed personally by respective permanent Secretaries
