Upon the expiry of the old generation driving license you would be in a position to renew it online.

If you are a holder of the old generation license (red book) then you should renew on E-Citizen, however, its renewal is for a period of one  year or as stipulated on the portal.

Here is how to renew your driving license and hit the road again:-

1. Login to E-citizen website (ecitizen.go.ke)
2. On the E-citizen Dashboard, select NTSA portal
3. Select ‘Make an application’ then select  ‘Driving License’
4. Select One year driving license renewal
5. Fill in required details and pay required fee
6. Download your license and stick it in the red book.
