You are a first timer or probably that old generation booklet of a driving licence must be tiring you out. Well its time for the Smart Drivers License, the Card like DL with your details on it.

Pre-requisite:

• Knowledge of the internet/browsing (but of course you do, you are here).
• Registered at TIMS NTSA Portal
• Some Cash

Well, this is how to apply for your driving license to enable you get going on the Kenyan roads:-

1. Login into the TIMS NTSA portal >> https://tims.ntsa.portal.go.ke
2. Select ‘Driving License’
3. Select ‘Apply for smart driving license’
4. Fill in the required details
5. Pay the required fee, approximately Ksh 3,500 and visit the nearest NTSA Office with your passport photo and the invoice
6. Pick your driving license at the prescribed time.
